Event Operations Coordinator

As Event Operations Coordinator at Homefield, you will help sculpt our presence at college campuses and major sporting events across America. Working directly with the Director of Marketing Partnerships and Events as well as key stakeholders at colleges, universities, and brand partners, the Event Operations Coordinator will craft dozens of thoughtful, end-to-end, community experiences. Informed by Homefield's Brand Guidelines and overall Marketing Campaigns each quarter, this position will tailor each event to meet storytelling objectives while optimizing inventory, operations, revenue, and brand partnership opportunities to ensure total program health and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with college, university, and brand partners to build Homefield’s annual events calendar.
  • Conduct venue and vendor outreach/acquisition to secure the highest quality event partners.
  • Analyze and report effectiveness of event campaigns, making adjustments for future campaigns based on stated marketing goals.
  • Manage and maintain events budget to ensure events remain on target.
  • Oversee the travel and hospitality of on-location staff, marketing partners, content creators, and performing talent.
  • Create and strengthen relationships with third-party vendors and venue operators.
  • Provide thorough post-event reporting to internal and external event stakeholders.
  • Identify, engage and present to potential local and national sponsorship partners.
  • Manage on-site affiliate partners and build a national network of third-party collegiate brand ambassadors.
  • Manage internal inventory needs, event-related shipping logistics, and point-of-sale coordination to optimize event branding and sales efficiency.
  • Manage all on-site event coordination and sales booth activations including: POS systems, storage, load-in, load-out, and return shipping.
  • Coordinate with the Digital Design team to ensure custom branding and signage is executed within strict deadline parameters.
  • Act as the liaison between on-site teams and internal marketing & content team.
  • Build and maintain an internal library of event photographs, videos, and content.
  • Work as liaison with the operations team for event-specific gifting, wholesale needs, and custom fulfilment.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant events marketing and/or operations experience with relevant Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Must have current driver’s license
  • Must be able to lift equipment and goods up to 35lbs
  • Must be able to drive distances exceeding 400mi
  • Must be comfortable flying regularly
  • Proficient with Excel, spreadsheets, and Google suite of tools.
  • Familiarity with marketing campaign tools
  • Familiarity with Shopify systems a plus
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends
