You will be working directly under the Co-Founder and Creative Director as her creative assistant in our New York City studio headquarters. Your responsibilities range from assisting with creative projects, managing day-to-day creative and operational deliverables, shadowing the creative direction and assisting her in staying organized with her daily tasks.
Compensation range: offer set based on candidate experience and seniority.
REQUIREMENTS
What you'll do:
The assistant will work closely with the Creative Director and co-founder to stay organized across the different aspects of our brands.
- Creative visual asset creation assistance: prepare for and be on set for photography and video shoots. Tasks include researching talent, preparing products for the shoot date, arranging coffee and meals for the crew, helping transport product on the day of shoot and cleaning up.
- Help procuring props, locations, and setups for photo and video content.
- Providing administrative and operational assistance, such as writing emails and preparing communications as needed.
- Organizing meetings, including scheduling with both internal and external members.
- Managing day-to-day calendars.
- Coordinating travel arrangements.
- Reviewing all incoming physical mail and distributing accordingly.
- Ability to take on and project manage special collaboration projects.
- Manage sample traffic in the studio.
- Serve as the point person for office manager duties including maintenance, mailing, supplies, equipment, bills, errands, shopping.
- Organize the office layout and order stationery and equipment.
- Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary maintenance.
- Organize office operations and procedures.
- Manage office General and Administrative budget, ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Provide general support to visitors.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.
- Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services.
- Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations, and conferences.
Required skills:
- 1-2 years of creative assistant, founder assistant, and project management experience preferred.
- Ability to act as gatekeeper and escalate relevant information to the creative director.
- Strong organizational skills and able to multitask.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Ability to treat confidential information with appropriate discretion.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- In-depth understanding of MS Office and Google Suite applications.
- Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
- Professional level verbal and written communication skills.
- Occasional travel to provide support at shoot locations, trade shows, etc. as needed.
