About Pockyt

Pockyt is building the AI-native infrastructure for global money movement. We give merchants a single platform to accept payments from anywhere, send money globally, and manage funds through Global Virtual Accounts and stablecoins — but our ambition runs deeper than the rails themselves. We're architecting the connective tissue that lets capital move across borders the way information moves across the internet: instantly, intelligently, and autonomously.

We serve a wide spectrum of merchants, from sophisticated enterprise platforms running complex multi-currency operations to the next generation of AI-powered startups. Our mission is to make global commerce frictionless.

The Role

We're looking for a Solutions Engineer who lives at the intersection of API, merchant, and internal engineering — the person merchants turn to when an integration breaks, and the person engineering turns to when they need to know how merchants actually use the product. You'll own the technical relationship for merchants integrating with Pockyt's Checkout, Payouts, and Virtual Account products: standing up sandbox environments, debugging signature and payload errors, building Postman collections that make testing painless, and translating cryptic production logs into a fix or a clear explanation.

This is a hands-on, high-context role, fully remote and based in Latin America. One day you're diagnosing why a verifySign error is blocking a merchant's bank account creation; the next you're documenting a new invoice-upload requirement for payouts to China, or looping in engineering on a webhook that silently failed for 40 transactions. You'll work daily with Engineering, Compliance, and Product to keep merchants unblocked, and with merchant-facing teams to make sure gaps and limitations are communicated clearly and early — before they become escalations.

What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end technical onboarding for new merchant integrations: sandbox setup, credential provisioning, and production go-live support
  • Debug API integration issues in real time — signature/auth errors, payload validation, webhook failures — partnering directly with engineering to root-cause and resolve
  • Build and maintain Postman collections, sample payloads, and merchant-facing integration guides for Checkout, Payouts, and Virtual Account flows
  • Support cross-border payment nuances (e.g., invoice requirements for China payouts, MoR account structures, multi-VA reconciliation) and keep documentation current as rules change
  • Maintain and continuously update Pockyt's Solutions documentation (Confluence) — current gaps, workarounds, and product limitations — so the whole team is working from the same picture
  • Triage and route production issues, working with Engineering to distinguish platform bugs from integration errors
  • Communicate technical blockers and product limitations clearly to merchants and internal stakeholders, setting realistic expectations before they escalate
  • Support KYC/KYB and compliance-adjacent questions during onboarding, looping in Compliance when documentation (e.g., RFIs) is required
  • Contribute to internal tooling and demo environments that speed up future integrations

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in a solutions engineering, technical support, or implementation role — ideally in payments or fintech
  • Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs: reading logs, debugging auth/signature issues, building and sharing Postman collections
  • Comfortable being the technical point of contact for external merchants — patient, clear, and precise under pressure
  • Fluent in English
  • Solid understanding of payment flows: payouts, payins, virtual accounts, and reconciliation basics
  • Strong documentation habits — you write things down so the next person (or merchant) doesn't have to ask twice
  • Comfortable working across functions with Engineering, Compliance, and Product in a fully remote, distributed setup
  • Based in Latin America with a reliable home office setup and overlap with US business hours

Bonus Points

  • Experience with cross-border payment rails, stablecoins, or MoR (Merchant of Record) account structures
  • Familiarity with KYC/KYB workflows and compliance documentation (RFIs, beneficiary onboarding)
  • Prior experience supporting LATAM or APAC merchants
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira, or similar for maintaining living technical documentation
  • Exposure to fraud/dispute workflows

Why Pockyt

  • Direct ownership of merchant relationships from first API call to production scale
  • Daily exposure to how a cross-border payments platform actually works, end-to-end
  • Tight collaboration with engineering leadership — your reports shape what gets built next

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary benchmarked to local market rates for your country of residence
  • Eligible for performance-based bonuses
  • After successfully completing an initial trial period, you'll transition onto Pockyt's Employer of Record (EOR) program, which provides locally compliant benefits and employment protections for your country
  • Fully remote — no relocation required
